About Me
I was born in a small town called Oranit in 1984.
Being one of the first families in this peaceful place, I grew up knowing everyone, sharing my stuff with cats, dogs, snakes, scorpions and a few human beings (aka EVERYONE).
I spent pretty much my entire childhood in the basketball field, playing for more than 4 hours every day, until the lights went off (moonlight basketball is not quite the same).
I started writing code professionally at the age of fifteen, writing web engines & sites using PHP and MySql over Linux. Then I joined the Israeli Air Force and started writing applications using .Net and Oracle technologies over … Windows!
Soon after I finished my army service, I worked for SQLink, Mercury and finally – Semingo!
With more than 8 years of experience, I’m currently leading the Development Methodologies here at Semingo which includes Scrum/Agile (aka “Scrumingo”), Unit-testing, Continuous Integration and plenty other geeky notions.
On a day to day basis, I serve as a Scrum Master and Team Leader of our “Diggers Team” (responsible for collecting the data behind our amazing search engine).
I practice in Semingo what I’ve learned in the basketball court – Team spirit(!), hard work, creativity, constant adjustments and most important: enjoying the game.
I blog about development methodologies and the other exciting challenges we encounter here every day. Stay tuned…
My specialities:
- Development methodologies
- Application Analysis & Design
- .Net & ASP.NET
- Multi-threading applications
- Code generators
